Biography

I'm from the East Coast (New Jersey and Philadelphia). Before law school I worked in commercial real estate, as both an asset manager and a developer, working on shopping centers and office buildings before the 2009 crash, and working on residential projects afterwards. Growing up I loved to argue, I loved to game the rules, and I took law classes in college. While working, I realized that my lawyers always made money even when my deals were lackluster. I wondered at this power they had to tell me what I could and couldn't do in my deals, and I resolved to go to law school and learn that power for myself. I fell in love with California on vacation and arranged to move here in 2011 to attend law school.

I graduated from UC Davis School of Law in 2014, and passed the bar exam on the first try that fall. I moved to Walnut Creek and worked at the now-closed Oakland law firm of Boornazian, Jensen & Garthe, where I learned to navigate and manage complex civil litigation and insurance disputes. I was recruited to move to San Jose and work for the long-tenured Los Gatos law firm of Sweeney Mason, LLP. In 2021, I decided to strike out on my own and practice law my way.

If you want to know a little bit more about me personally, I'm a cat person (see, e.g., the "Our Team" page).
